The Requirement
Large open plan space to include living area, dining area, open plan kitchen by removing internal walls and rear walls of ground floor. Basement converted into a utility room, playroom lounge, and shower room. Loft converted into a master bedroom.
The Solution
After we completed all the structural work detailed in the structural calculations, and built the rear extension, we then implemented all the new design ideas the client wanted to personalise the build. This added elements like extra sound proofing, the removal of a chimney, altering the basement stairs to become open-plan and extending the floor space in the loft.
The Result
The large open-plan kitchen/dining/living room had a real wow factor. The spacious master bedroom loft looked amazing and had great views from the dormer window. Due to the big increase in value the customer went on to sell the house a year later and asked us to renovate his next family home with a similar design.
